This design was hand-drawn by me using blank ink and is produced on 350gsm silk paper with a matt finish.

INSPIRATION
 
I visit garden centres often as I absolutely love nature and plants. During a visit to one of many of the nurseries in our neighbourhood, I spotted a Hellebore and loved the foliage and blooms. What made it even more special and stand-out to me is that it is a winter flowering plant, to add interest to even the dullest of those cold winter days.
 
I drew this in monochrome to highlight the details in the leaves and the petals, and produced it in a cyclical way to define the different stages of the flowers. This piece has a nice balance of detail and space to help the eye gently move around the image.
